Who is Jonah, and is he in heaven? Jonah, almost certainly a current citizen of heaven, was a prophet of God during the time of Jeroboam II of Israel and though he initially refused God’s calling to pronounce judgement on the people of Nineveh by trying to sail to another port, God sent a huge fish to swallow him and there, in the belly of the fish, decided to obey God and sail to Nineveh to deliver an eight word sermon stating: “Forty days from now Nineveh will be destroyed!”, which the citizens heeded and were saved from destruction.

Dear Friend, Muhammad Ali once said, “I’ve wrestled with alligators. I’ve tussled with a whale. I done handcuffed lightning. And throw thunder in jail.” I have tussled with a whale before. At least that was what I thought at the time. But it was God I was fighting with. He won the argument. He always does. Do not argue with God. Talk to him. More importantly, listen to Him. He will help you defeat your alligators, and whales, and the lightening and the thunder. Like Ali, you are the Heavy Weight Champion of your family. Act like it! Jonah

Of beauty, of paradise, of a heavenly kingdom.
Most Christians believe it is a real place, separate from Earth. Others are convinced it is close enough for its inhabitants to reveal themselves miraculously to the living.
